Hi, my name is Brady Alexov and I am a kinesiologist and trainer at South Island Physiotherapy. I am a lifelong learner with a genuine passion for health, movement, and physical activity. I earned my Bachelor of Kinesiology from Camosun College in 2025, and while my education forms the backbone of my practice, the most important part of my work is my ability to meet people where they are and support meaningful change.
Whether you’re beginning a fitness journey or returning to movement after time away due to injury, life, or changing priorities, stepping into the gym can feel intimidating. I remember not knowing where to start or what to do, and that experience continues to shape how I coach today. My approach is grounded in helping clients better understand their bodies, set realistic and relevant goals, and build confidence through purposeful movement.
During our sessions, you can expect an enthusiastic and supportive coach who genuinely cares about your goals. Through education and collaboration, I aim to empower clients to take ownership of their health and fitness, both inside and beyond the gym. I have experience in strength and conditioning for performance, fitness, health, and longevity, as well as exercise therapy for pain management, injury rehabilitation, and injury prevention.
Whatever your background or goals, I believe the gym is a space where you belong. My goal is to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead a more active, independent life.
