Colin Beattie
Physical Therapist
Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia before earning my Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. I have been practicing as a physiotherapist since 2011, with over 15 years of experience helping people move better and return to the activities that matter most to them.
After finishing my studies at UBC, I moved to Victoria to be with my wife and to build a life and family in a community that reminded me of where I grew up. Victoria shares many of the same qualities as the East Coast communities that shaped me. It is a place defined by connection, access to the outdoors, and a pace of life that allows people to prioritize health, movement, and time with family.
My work as a physiotherapist is rooted in a simple belief. People should be able to move through life with confidence. Through my work and through the clinic we have built, my goal is to help people rediscover thoughtless, careless, fearless movement so they can return to the activities and lifestyles that bring them joy.
