Jason Nenzel

Jason Nenzel was born and raised on Vancouver Island and has always felt a strong connection to the people and lifestyle of the West Coast. He completed his undergraduate degree at Vancouver Island University, graduating as Valedictorian, before moving to Edmonton to complete his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta.

During his time at the University of Alberta, Jason was elected President of the Rehabilitation Medicine Student Association, where he represented the student body and worked closely with faculty to support the development of future rehabilitation professionals.

Jason now lives and practices in Victoria, British Columbia. His approach to physiotherapy centres on helping people overcome injury, pain, and physical limitations so they can return to the activities that matter most to them. Whether that means returning to sport, work, exercise, or everyday life with greater confidence, Jason believes movement should help people fully enjoy where they live and what they do.

Jason has completed continued education in Intramuscular Stimulation and Dry Needling, as well as advanced training in the assessment and management of shoulder, neck, and lower back conditions. He combines hands-on treatment, progressive exercise, and practical education to help patients better understand their condition and take an active role in their recovery.

In addition to his clinical work, Jason serves as President of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. In this national leadership role, he works alongside physiotherapists and healthcare leaders from across the country to support the profession and contribute to the future of physiotherapy in Canada.
